I love looking at the Christmas window displays around London. It’s one of the joys of the season.
Selfridges and Harvey Nicks are renowned for them, but today I have found my favourite food display in London for 2013 – The Cafe as part of Cafe Royal Hotel on Regent Street.
Bundt pans and bundt cakes of various colours and sizes are celebrated here with charming London-inspired props.
The cafe itself is decadent – a little on the formal side – subtly-lit and warm.
Christmas cookie.. Notice the subtle use of Billington’s sugar wrapping paper as a border. Great detail.
Less of a fan of macaroons for eating, they do seem to make great decorations!
On-theme, enchanting and original, great efforts by Cafe Royal for the festive season.
